THE IMAGES.

All images offered through Desert Express , " the photographic gallery " were shot on Original 35 mm Colour Transparency. Australian Geographic insist that their Photographers shoot with nothing but the best in regard to equipment and film stock. Barry Skipsey has captured his unique photographic version of the Northern Territory using Fujichrome Velvia & Provia.

In an effort to offer our customers a print of the highest quality ( whilst keeping the price affordable ) we produce high resolution scans of the photographers original work.

THE PRINTING.

Currently , all images appearing within our 12 separate and Fully Framed designs are produced by EPSON Commercial high end Printers using EPSONS Archival Quality Print Media.

PAPER : All images are printed on EPSONS Premium Semigloss Light Fast Photographic Paper. INKS : All images are printed using EPSONS Pigment based ARCHIVAL inks.

Coupled with the right conditions*,your images will have a life expectancy of 75 ( plus ) years.

* All dyes change over time , in order to achieve the longest life and minimize any colour change in your Desert Express print, it will be provided Fully Framed and behind glass. This will eliminate the potential harmful effects of atmospheric contaminates. EPSON advise that you should always display your images indoors and away from direct sunlight.

THE FRAMING.

All images are produced and shipped Fully Framed as seen on the pages of our Site. All images are CUSTOM framed. We have a long standing working relationship with a much respected and professional company based here
in Alice Springs , " The Framin Place ".

Our uniform and distinctive Black ( with white core ) Mat Boards, are individually cut to our design specifications and are personally TITLED & SIGNED by the Photographer, Barry Skipsey.

Each design is currently framed within our uniform BALTIC PINE moulding.

THE DELIVERY & SHIPPING.

Orders within the immediate Alice Springs township area are personally delivered.

Intrastate , Interstate and International orders are :

1. ) Securely packed in bubble wrap and shipped in Heavy Duty ( specifically manufactured ) cardboard boxes.

3.) ALL designs other than our FG & E Series are shipped and Registered by Australia Post .

4. ) Our FG & E Series are shipped in specifically manufactured crates and Shipped via road by TNT.

From placement and confirmation of your order, please allow a minimum of 10 days for production.

In the case of shipping within Australia, please allow a further 10 days for final delivery.

In the case of shipping Overseas, depending on which country we are shipping to, please allow a further four weeks. We will notify you of an approximate delivery date at the time of placing your order.
